Importance of Play for Early Learning is the fourth unit of the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People program.

This unit considers the importance of creativity and imagination in a child’s learning and development. By exploring some creative activities and experiences for children the relevance of creativity will be demonstrated. Learners will get an understanding of the importance of play within early learning.

5. Understand the importance of books and stories in relation to children’s learning and development.

6. Understand the importance of talking and listening activities in relation to children’s learning and development.
