Course Description
In this new world, the use of technology has become a daily necessity for all forms of communication and learning. Most schools are now using online learning, and will continue long into the future, either fully or at least as part of the learning process and curriculum. Therefore, as Early Years providers, we need to look at the implications and needs of the children as they start their education journey. Many people shy away from the use of tablets, smart boards and other forms of electronic learning, but we need to look at the schools and prepare the children for what they will be doing in the future. Let’s face it, most children nowadays are practically born with a tablet or phone in their hand, and most of them can use them much more efficiently than us!
The use of technology must be embraced and used as an advantage to learning. This does not mean that we ignore or forget the practical and physical ways either, but the way of learning will benefit if we find a way to merge them together and create something even more useful and wonderful.
