Child Protection for Health Practitioners

This course is designed for those who work with children and young people in a health setting. Its purpose is to raise your awareness of abuse and neglect, help you to recognize early signs of concerns, and looks at how to take appropriate action.
Participants will learn how to recognize abuse, handle disclosures, keep records, barriers to reporting, effective information sharing, and establishing a clear line of accountability within the healthcare organization.
