In this course, you will learn about Children’s Rights and Human Rights, Principles of Child Rights, Responsible for Realizing Children’s Rights, Taking action to defend Child Rights.

  • Describe government obligations regarding children’s rights.
  • Analyze how children’s rights can protect children in a diverse range of circumstances.
  • Apply a children’s rights lens to your everyday life.
  • Take action to promote and defend children’s rights.

  • This course is divided into 4 sections, interspersed with youth activist videos, self-reflection activities, and deep dives into the status of children’s rights worldwide.
  • Alongside this course, Amnesty International collaborated with Angelina Jolie and child rights lawyer Geraldine Van Bueren QC, one of the drafters of the landmark convention that gave children their own unique set of rights for the first time, to create a book aimed at supporting youth in knowing their rights and claiming them.
