Course Title: Learning Environments for enhancing Creativity

This course can be taken as independently or as a component of Advanced Certificate Early Childhood Education and Care certification. It provides an opportunity to learn and use a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and teaching strategies for children to explore music, movement, and the visual arts, and to develop and express their individual creative abilities.

There are 4 Sections in the unit include:

1: Introduction 

2: Environments that promote creativity

3: Imaginative and non-imaginative material/toys

4: Creativity through activities

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, learner will understand:

1: To use a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

2: To use teaching strategies for children to develop and express their individual creative abilities.

3: To create environments that promote creativity.

4: To enhance creativity through daily interactions and experiences.

5: Promoting the visual arts.

6: Creativity through music, movement, and dance.

7: Creativity through dramatic play and storytelling.

 

Learning and Assessments

To successfully pass this unit, you must complete the following:

1: Quiz: You will complete a quiz consisting of multiple-choice questions.

2: Workbook: You will also receive a workbook that includes written assignments, reflective activities.

Please note that learner must achieve a minimum of 70% score to pass this unit..

Certification

Upon successful completion of this topic, learner will receive a E-Certificate from Arabian Child Education Consultants (UAE). Learner can also request accredited certificate by Knowledge and Human Development Authority UAE (KHDA) with an additional cost.
