About This Course:

The aim of this course is to equip students with the skills to plan and study more independently.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify the qualities and actions of an independent learner.
• Describe the resources required for your study programme and identify how to obtain these resources.
• Prepare long term goals.
• Describe planning techniques for independent study.
• Describe personal challenges that may affect your study and explain how to overcome them.

Learners will also be able to:

• Write medium and short term SMART targets.
